Description

It’s Disney’s 100th anniversary — but what would Duckburg and Mouseton be like another 100 years from now? In an epic collection of all-new comics adventures, we’re finding out!

Life is like a cyber-hurricane! From giant robots to wild Martian rovers, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Pegleg Pete, and the Phantom Blot face futuristic thrills and chills in all-new comics epics — classic tales with a twistinspired by vintage cartoons, but taken in an unexpected, hi-tech direction! In “Lonesome Ghosts in the Machine,” “Thru the Metaverse,” and six more feature-length adventures set on earth, outer space, and cyberspace, fan-favorite writer Francesco Artibani (“Scrooge’s Last Adventure”) fronts an international creative team taking our Disney adventurers where no Mouse has gone before… in a lush variety of author-driven art styles!

About the Author

Francesco Artibani (1968-), born in Rome, Italy, has long worked for The Walt Disney Company Italia, where he has scripted many comics adventures for Scrooge McDuck, Mickey Mouse, Duck Avenger, and the beloved girls’ adventure series W.I.T.C.H. Artibani has also produced miniseries for Panini/Marvel (X-Campus) and worked on major non-Disney Italian comics, including Lupo Alberto and Winx Club.

Lorenzo Pastrovicchio (1971-), born in Trieste, Italy, has been a Disney comics artist since the mid-1990s, most noted for his contributions to Duck Avenger adventures.

Claudio Sciarrone (1970-), born in Milan, Italy, is among the most celebrated modern Italian Disney comics artists. He is especially noted for his work on Duck Avenger and W.I.T.C.H. stories, for which he pioneered a detail-rich, cutting-edge style.

David Gerstein is an animation and comics researcher, writer, and editor best known for his work with The Walt Disney Company and its licensees. Praise for Walt Disney's Mickey and Donald Fantastic Futures: Classic Tales with a 22nd Century Twist

It’s beautifully laid out, with nods to cyberpunk and science fiction tropes thrown in for good measure. ... This book is perfect for any fan of animation, comics, or Disney history.
